Shots

I forgot to add yesterday that Rosalie got her 3rd set of shots.. yes I kow, we're behind.. half my fault.. When we were in the states, no place could get her in until a month after her shots were due... so when her 3rd set came around, she wouldn't get them til she was 7 months... but I've been putting them off the past couple of weeks just because the last set was horrible. (plus with as miserable she has been with teething, I didn't want to add that on top of it)

She did really good this time... she barely cried. She's so tough. We discussed with her pediatrician about not gettin the oral rotavirus just because of the effects it had on her the last 2 times.. the first time she puked it up instantly.. same with the second time.. except the second time she puked for like 5 days after she got it.. Her pediatrician said that the 6 month one isn't that important.. rotavirus is more likely to affect newborns. So she didn't get it.

She came home from her shots and zonked out.. woke up and ate and got some tylenol in her because she had a low grade temp.. got a bath.. and zonked out again at 6:30 and slept for 9 hours.. when she woke up she had another low grade temp and it took me awhile to get her back to sleep.. but she finally went around 4ish and slept til 7:30!

When she woke up, I couldn't give her tylenol because she can only take it in food.. so as soon as she got up at 7:30 i got some cereal in her so I could give her some tylenol. The problem: it was my last bit of tylenol (well generic because of the recall).. well the commissary has nothing.. not even generic.. so I'm going to have to call pediatrics today and see if they can call her something into the pharmacy. Who woulda thought that something would be as hard as getting tylenol? lol

Today is looking gorgeous.. so hopefully we can get out to the pool this afternoon!

Ciao!

Last week i found a 4 leaf clover, but I have yet to see the luck.

Last week Roey and I were out at her pool.. it was a good day.. she slept all night, was eating good, the weather was amazing, and me and my peanut were poolside.. seriously, does life get any better? Then I looked down and there was a 4 leaf clover! I just looked down and there it was! No searching required! I felt golden.

So here hangs this 4 leaf clover on my fridge.. and i feel as though it's useless. I've just had the worst luck lately.

Following that day... every night was terrible.. and worse than the one before. Ro screamed and cried and didn't sleep.. she wouldn't eat solids.. ugh a nightmare.

Last night, she slept. Such a blessing.. but guess who didn't sleep? ME! My allergies flared up big time and I was up all night, miserable. So now we'll go another 5 days with her not sleeping and I missed my chance to sleep.

We woke this morning and I noticed Roey had a huge red mark on her forehead and cheek, I assumed she scratched herself and thought nothing of it. As I was putting her in the tub, I noticed she was coveredddddddd in bites. I mean, EVERYWHERE. We don't sleep with the windows open, and she was only outside for a lil while yesterday. (Surely if they happened yesterday we would have noticed when she got her evening bath... they had to of happened over night). They were huge and they were every where. Probably about 5 just on one ear. After I got her out and dried, I covered her in calamine lotion, assuming they were bites to relieve the itching.

I called and got her in to the pediatrician just to get them checked out to make sure they were normal bug bites and nothing to be worried about.. plus I wanted her to get checked out and make sure she's okay with the way she's been eating. The bites checked out okay.. the doc looked in her mouth and everything to make sure she didn't have any in there.. She told me to try keeping her door closed at night to help prevent bug bites.. usually I do keep it closed but last night her room was so dang hot.

As for her eating, she's doing okay. Doc said it's probably a phase she's going through because of teething and it should pass. It's not affecting her health and she's still gaining weight. What a relief. She's almost 21 lbs now.. my lil porker!

So now I wonder.. when am I going to catch my break? I don't think ever. lol I guess I just have the Gallaher bad luck. fml. haaha

French Quarter Beignets

Back in college, a I travelled to Mississippi with some of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life (and met some amazing people along the way!) to help with Hurricane Katrina clean-up. It was probably one of the most moving and worthwhile things I've ever done in my life. The feeling you get inside helping these people who are soooo unbelievably grateful for what you're doing is INDESCRIBABLE... it was such an incredible experience, that my friend Jocelyn and I organized another trip after graduation! While there the first time, we did some things to unwind.. hitting the beach every night.. bonfires.. and New Orleans. New Orleans.. wowww.. a city of amazing drinks, voodoo, jazz music, and delicious beignets. A lot of people have never heard of them.. they are described as a New Orleans style donut, but I think of it as a little bite of funnel cake. Anyways.. I completely forgot how incredible they were, until Roey and I watched the Princess and the Frog.. I knew then, I had to make my own beignets.. of course I had to go buy a deep fryer lol... but it was totally worth it.. So I just have to share! ENJOY!

French Quarter Beignets

Ingredients:
3/4c lukewarm water
1/4c granulated sugar
1 envelope of active dry yeast
1 egg slightly beaten
a smidge over 1/2 teas salt
1/2c evaporated milk
3 1/2c bread flour (I used Gold brand)
1/8c shortening (I used Crisco)
Nonstick spray
Oil (Cottonseed is best, but our commissary didn't have it, so I used Planters Peanut Oil)
1 1/2 c confectioners sugar

  • Mix water, yeast, and sugar
  • Let sit for 10 minutes
  • In another bowl, beat eggs, salt, and evaporated milk
  • Mix egg mix with the yeast mix
  • In another bowl, measure out bread flour
  • Add 3c of the bread flour to the yeast/egg mixture
  • Mix, then add shortening
  • Then add the rest of the flour
  • Remove dough and place onto a flour surface
  • Knead until smooth
  • Spray a bowl with nonstick and place dough in bowl
  • Cover with towel
  • Allow to rise for at least 2 hours (I let mine rise for 5 1/2 hours and it was PERFECT!)
  • Preheat oil to 350
  • Roll out dough to 1/4" thick and 1" x 1" wide squares
  • Throw beignets in fryer (you'll have to flip them.. they'll only brown for a few minutes on each side)
  • Drain on a paper towel til all beignets are fried
  • Toss them into a sealable bag with the 1 1/2c of confectioners sugar
  • Toss and shake to coat evenly
  • Beignets are best when fresh, but they can be heated in the microwave :)
Roey decied to come help Mommy do a lil baking :) boy do I love her!

Okayyyy so I had to add this because I think it's hilarious.. Kevin took a ball of the beignet dough.. his original plan was to make a deep fried hot dog bun (I know, RIDICULOUS).. anyways.. here's how it turned out... what do you think it looks like? ahha

When we were in the states, my mom, Ro, and I went to a little boutique where Roey got tons of unique dresses, bonnets, and a headband. The headband was the cutest thing! It's one with the crochet band and hugeee flower.. i'm sure everyone's seen them.. they are quite the rave :)

(this isn't the one she got in the states.. this is a pic of deal that I ran into!)

so we paid $10 for ONE headband at the boutique back home.

I've been doing major bargain shopping lately.. browsing around for the best deals.. and I came across this awesome boutique on Etsy.. Boutique Hermosa..

Week Two Weigh In

It's Friday.. so you know what that means.. weigh in day!
and the verdict is...
I'm DOWN another 1.3 lbs!

Week Zero: --
Week One: -2.9 lbs
Week Two: -1.3 lbs
Total Weight Loss Since Delivery: 46 lbs!

I'm getting really close to that 50 lb goal!

Homemade Stromboli

This is probably one of my favorite recipes.. I have made a lot of tweaks to the original recipe (as down to what brand of cheese to buy!)... and now I think it's just perfect! So it's time to share!

Homemade Stromboli

Ingredients:
1 tube of French loaf
about 1/2lb deli honey ham, sliced for sandwiches
1 pk Kraft mozzarella cheese slices
1 bag pepperoni
Any veggies you prefer
Pizza sauce of your choice

  • Unroll the french loaf on a clean surface (this can be very difficult.. some tubes are tricky, it takes patience! if you get a few little tears, it'll be fine, just try work the dough together
  • Place cheese all over dough except 1/2 inch of the edge
  • Place pepperoni all over cheese
  • Add any veggies you prefer (we usually don't use any.. just meat and cheese!)
  • Place ham over top of the cheese.. i usually do 2 layers of ham especially if it's really thin sliced
  • Fold the sides in (do not fold over tightly against the meat or else the loaf will tear
  • Fold the the edge farthest away from you in
  • Roll the loaf away from you (about 2 inches wide.. it usually takes 2 flips, depending on how big you managed to stretch your loaf!)
  • Place onto greased baking sheet. Mine is usually too long and ends up sitting on each end of the sheet
  • Use a sharp knife and cut several deep slits on top of the loaf (about an inch and a half long... about 2 inches between each slit)
  • Bake at 350 for 26-30 minutes or until golden brown
  • Remove, cool, and cut into 4 sections
  • Serve with warm pizza sauce
Serves: 2

Water Baby

On Tuesday, Roey's swimming pool came! I was soo excited! lol! I blew up the pool and Kevin blew up the slide so it would be ready to be filled on Wednesday. When we got up Wednesday morning it was GORGEOUS out.. so I went out at 8am, cleaned up the dog poop in the back yard lol, and filled her pool. It took me a little while because our hose is the front of the house, so I had to take buckets from the kitchen.

By afternoon it was sooo hott out, so I decided it was pool time! Got Roey suited up (unfortunately her new swim suit didn't come yet.. and the one I have is 12 months and it's a lil tiny on her! Looks like if her new swimsuit isn't here by the weekend, we'll be hittin up the BX and gettin a temporary swimsuit).

She had SOOOOO much fun! At first she just kinda sat there. Maybe she just thought she was in the tub.. then she realized she could go places and there was no stopping her! Her little butt didn't sit still for more than 2 minutes.

While she was in the pool, she got to her knees, and pulled herself up to stand all by herself for the first time! It was pretty exciting!

Looks like we won't be hitting the pool today.. it's pretty gloamy out (granted it's only 6am, but it just doesn't look like it's going to be a nice day)..

OHH and yesterday Roey started saying MAMA! Woooot!

Here's only a few pics from our big swimming day.. enjoy! :)

Rosalie slept.

Yes it happened last night. On the 5th night, Rosalie finally slept. We've never made it that far.. usually on the 3rd night she breaks and it sleeps.. but she toughed it out 2 extra nights before giving in.

It was great.. for her. lol. She went to bed around 7:30 and I thought for sure we were in for a rough night. She cried and cried herself to sleep.. puked all over kevin and buddy (yes it hit the dog too) before zonking out. Her teeth were just hurting sooo bad.. you can really feel the back of her mouth is raised on the right side. I don't know why she's getting her teeth out of order!

ANYWAYS. She crashed at 7:30 and Kevin and I went to bed 9. As soon as we got in bed I heard her stirring over the baby monitor and thought "so my night begins".. but I let her go and she went back to sleep.

Around 11 I woke up, I guess because my body is so use to being up by then. Just as I woke up she let out a hellasish scream. I walked in her room and she was sound asleep, completely turned sideways in her crib. So I went back to bed and I kept waking up just waiting for her to get up!

But she never did! Until 3am! She got up at 3... ate, got a fresh diaper, and crashed again.. UNTIL 7!!!!!!! We NEVER EVER get to sleep til 7! We're usually up every day by 5:30, 6 at the latest!

THANK YOU ROSALIE! lol

So we're really hoping for a beautiful day today (which it is looking it so far!) because Rosalie's new swimming pool came today.. it's superrr cute! I blew up the pool last night and Kevin blew up the slide.. now today if it's nice I'm going to fill it!

Well that's all for now. CIAO!

Back on the Wagon!

As most know, when I got pregnant with Ro I gained a crap ton of weight.. there were more factors than just the pregnancy that contributed to it, but after I had her I worked so hard to take it off.. (a work in progress haha).. after Roey was born, I took off 40+ lbs soooo fast! I worked so hard.. walked, worked out, counted calories.. it wasn't that hard because I made sure when we went shopping, I didn't buy any junk food that I would splurge and eat..

Then I went to the states.

Instantly, I fell off the wagon that I worked so hard to be on. Even coming back to Italy, I was in a way of bad habits that I couldn't break.. drinking soda.. eating junk.. snacking. I was eating so unhealthy and felt like a slug. Finally I told myself I had to stop. It was time to get back on track.

My first week (let's call it week Zero lol), I didn't even jump on the scale. I didn't want to know how much weight I gained during my 3 months of being in the US. I did good though.. so the beginning of week of my real Week One, I weighed myself. As I figured I was up a few pounds. By the end of Week One I was down 2.9lbs! Go Me! Now here we are one Week Two and I'm doing great! I'm going to start keeping track on here as I begin this journey (or get back on the journey I started months ago) to give me some initiative.

What am I doing you ask? Let me break it down

I've been drinking tons of water. No soda. Substituting propel for soda to give me that sweet kick so I have no desire to drink soda. No junk food... instead, I'm replacing junk food with fresh fruits.

Here's what I normal day looks like:
->Once I get up and get moving, I have a banana, to curve my appetite.
->Mid morning, I will have a bowl of special K.
->If I get the munchies before lunch, I'll have some strawberries or blueberries.
->For lunch I'll have another bowl of special K. (I usually eat a late lunch.. Ro eats her lunch around 11... by the time she eats.. then gets ready for her after lunch nap, and I get her down.. then I'll have my lunch if I'm hungry.. if not, some days I hold off til like 1:30)
->If I have an early lunch, I'll have some fruit in the afternoon to hold me over til supper
->Supper I have a normal supper.

I'm gettin so much food for all the more calories I'm taking in and I don't feel like I have no energy.. I feel pretty good! (well besides my daughter depriving me of sleep)

So, today starts the log!:
WEEK ZERO: ---
WEEK ONE: -2.9lbs
WEEK TWO:

Ultimately, my New Years Resolution was to be down 50lbs.. which I'm so close to and I see that it can be achieved easily.. now I'm adding onto that, my long-longterm goal is to be back in my regular jeans by winter.

Dear Teething, I'm beginning to NOT like you

As a newborn, Rosalie was an awesome sleeper. Frankly, she spoiled me. She went to bed around the same time every night.. would get up around 2-3 to eat... go back to sleep til 6.. eat.. and then sleep til like 9. It was awesome.

Since she started teething... ugh.

Well I guess I shouldn't say since she started teething.. when the first tooth came in, she was just.. fussy. When the second tooth came in, we had one full blown out screaming night. By the next morning it was in. But now.. ughh. She goes to bed at a descent time, but only sleeps for like 2 hours.. then she's up constantly.. we're on our 3rd night of no sleep. I feel like a zombie.

Last night.. was the worst.

It started at 10:00.. Roey was up and crying. Then she started puking. I gave in and woke Kevin up and had him come down and help me so I could get cleaned up and get her cleaned up.. it was just a mess.. So she was up pretty much the entire night.. and all morning she's been puking every time she eats. It's a nightmare. I just don't see the light at the end of tunnel.

I just hope it's there.

Twice Baked MASHED potatoes!

So don't be scared by the pic of all the cheese.. it totally makes the dish! I was very skeptical about making these because 1: the recipe called for sour cream and Kevin hates sour cream and 2: I never made homemade mashed potatoes.. but they turned out AMAZING and Kevin went crazy over them! (There may look like a lot of cheese, but trust me, there's a crap ton of potatoes under there!)

Here's the recipe!
Twice Baked Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
8 medium potatoes (peeled and cubed)
1/2 c sour cream (actually i used a lil less than 1/2 c just because Kevin hates sour cream and I didn't want the taste to be strong.. so I used somewhere between 1/4 - 1/2c
1/3 c butter
1 teas salt
1/4 teas pepper
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
2 strips of bacon (cooked and crumbled)
Chives

  • Place potatoes in a saucepan and cover with water; cover and bring to a boil; cook for 15-20 minutes or until tender
  • Drain and mash
  • Add sour cream, butter, salt and pepper.
  • Beat until smooth and fluffy
  • Transfer to a greased 2 1/2 qt baking dish
  • Sprinkle with cheese (make sure you use the whole cup! I almost didn't, but glad I did!), bacon, and chives. (Chives are optional.)
  • Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is fully melted @ 325
This serving makes A LOT. Kevin and I reheated them the next day and he even had enough left over for the following days lunch!

between 8:30-9:30am, we will arrive Parenzo where we will board a boat
at 10am we travel along the Croatian coast, Lim Canal Natural Park, and Rovigno. We will have time for shopping and we have lunch on the boat (wine included!).. We'll also stop by the Croatian bay for some swimming!

7:30pm we will depart back to Aviano
11:30pm we will arrive back home!

I'm so excited I could explode! Kevin wasn't excited at all...he was kinda disappointed because he wanted to go to Pisa, but there are no Pisa trips in June or July.. and this was one that I was really wanting to go on, so I booked it. Once I told him there'd be swimming & wine, his attitude changed! lol

Well that's it... I just wanted to share my excitement.. wait til after July 10th for some awesome pics!

Oh and I forgot to add, this will make Ro's 4th country!

Christmas shopping has commenced. Yeah, I'm that crazy :)

So I have officially started Roey's Christmas shopping.. I know I'm a little crazy, but trust me, I have logics behind it. They say you shouldn't start shopping early because then you just keep buyin and spend more, but that's not my case! I made a LIST. A strict list and I'm sticking to it! What's awesome about Toys R Us website is you can make a wish list... I know, Toys R Us is overly priced, but I'm not shopping from there, I just used the wish list option that way I have an online way of keeping track of my list and then I can check off on it what I've purchased. I've actually been finding a lot of her stuff that I have on the list is a lot cheaper on Amazon. Not all the toys, but the Tag Junior Readers are A LOT cheaper on Amazon than any other place, along with Spongebob, Blues Clues, and Ni Hao Ki-Lan videos.

Anyways, back to my reasoning. Living overseas, you have no way in guaranteeing how long something will take to get here. Last year I was in major panic mode that some stuff wasn't going to get here on time. My other reason, I would rather spend a few dollars every month and space it out, rather than when November/December comes along, dish out a ton of money at one time. The end of the year is crazy for us holiday wise.. that's why my new goal is start every year in June getting ready for the end of the year holidays. That way there's no stress and I can enjoy birthdays and Christmas! We have both my dad and Kevin's dad's birthdays, Roey's birthday, and Christmas all within 2 months time. I'm hoping next month to get her birthday and Christmas Madame Alexander dolls ordered that way 2 of the big expensive items are out of the way.

A lil update on Ro..
She's been great lately.. she's getting back to her old self now.. She's finally eating good again and sleeping okay (i say okay because it's not that great for her age, but it's great compared to what she's been sleeping.. time change and teething really took a toll on her). I cleaned out the top of her closet the other day and found a TON of outfits that she could be wearing now.. some how they got mixed in with the 9-12 month stuff. She's been rather chipper and talking and spitting constantly!

We ordered Roey a swimming pool yesterday from Target. I can't wait til it comes! Then her and Audrey can have swim dates! I know she'll love it... as much as she lovesss getting baths! I hope I can make a fish outta her! lol Then of course I had to order her an extra swimsuit and matching flip flops for when we go to the beach and Barcis. I got them from Gymboree on sale, PLUS I had a coupon for 15% off! OHHH and my deal of the day yesterday.. I ordered her 2 new Spongebob movies for less than $2 a piece!!! Such an awesome deal! Especially since we've been watching the same Spongebob movie for a month now... (and some days we watch it a few times a day.. shooot me lol)...

Well I better cut it short here, I'm cooking supper and I'm pretty sure if I keep rambling I'll burn it. I'll post pictures later plus an AWESOME new recipe I tried out last night! Can't wait to share!

Boy have I been blessed.

Just a little reflection.. Boy have I been blessed with so many great things in my life..

An Amazing Husband!
My husband works so hard for his family and is soo good to Rosalie and I!,, and he is such a great daddy. I don't just say that to be cliche, but he is a great daddy! You can just see the love that he has for Rosalie and I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful husband that wants to be such a big role in my daughter's life. I couldn't ask for a better husband and she couldn't ask for a better daddy. We love you!

The Most Beautiful Daughter.
I know EVERYONE thinks they have the most beautiful child.. but I truly believe I do! She is so precious.. has the sweetest smile.. beautiful dark eyes and thick dark hair.. she's soo happy and is always laughing.. she's such a goofy little girl that she is always making us laugh. She truly brought our marriage together.. I never knew it, but she is what our family was missing. She's like a piece of Kevin and a piece of me, molded into this amazing little angel. It's crazy to think that we could possible make such a beautiful and perfect baby girl.

An Awesome Family!
There's no words that can describe how awesome my family is.. I'm so lucky to have such a close bond with my mom and dad... it's weird to think that as much as I fight with my mom when I'm living in the same house as her that when I'm away and I go a day without talking to her on the phone, I go stir crazy! lol! I love that I have a close relationship with my grandparents and my aunts and uncles are all amazing too! Rosalie is loved by sooo many people!

To Be Living in such a Beautiful Country!
Maybe it had something to do with the people we met when we first got here, but I HATED Italy.. absolutely hated it. I couldn't wait until our next assignment. Now, we LOVEEE it here and the time is going so fast! I don't want it to end! We are seeing so much and doing so much! We're planning a trip here in 2 weeks to either Pisa or Croatia.. I can't wait!!!

To Have an Awesome Military Family!
I love my friends over here. You guys are amazinggggg and you make this place rock 100 times more. Tiff, Meghan, and Britt.. you guys make Italy complete!

To Have such Awesome Friends Back Home!
I miss you guys. Flat out. There's nothing more I can say. Kayla- I love you!!!!!

To Be Educated and Have a Career I Love!
Not many people can say that.. but I can! I love being an xray tech.. I love being in a hospital and that hospital atmosphere. I love working with the public.. and I just flat out love xrays!! Everything about them amazes me! I can't wait to be back in America just to work.. (But it can wait.. right now I'm enjoying my Italy time and being fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom and not have my baby princess in a daycare!).. I can't wait to do something more with my career.. I'm really hoping to start taking CT classes and take my CT boards. I'm ready for something new and exciting!

Well that's about all the time I have for now.. Ro will be waking up from her nap soon!

7 month update.. only a few days late :)

As you can guess from previous posts, our past week has been a nightmare and I haven't had the time to sit and write Roey's 7 month entry. SCRATCH THAT. I've had the time, just not the energy. Last night was our first back to normal night. Thank God. Hopefully it wasn't a fluke and she gets back on her schedule. Instead of going to bed at 5-6, she went to be at 8, slept til 3:30, ate, and slept til 6 (which is her old schedule).... took an awesome morning nap too. OHH and the best part.. she ATE. Since Sunday night, Ro has been refusing solid foods and she was barely drinking any formula. She actually ate breakfast and lunch today. wooooot.

Okay.. now onto the 7 month update:
Weight: 19 lbs 8 oz. almost a 2 lb jump since last month!
Height: 28 1/2 inches.. only 1/4 of an inch jump since last.. I think I may have over measured her last month lol.
Diaper Size: Still a 3!

She has 2 teeth in.. and I think she's working on another.. but we can't tell. She won't let us in there. lol. As soon as you try to look, she rolls her tongue all over the place so you can't see.

Rosalie is officially a knee crawler.. she started right after she started army crawling.. she is alllll over the place! Pretty fast too! Needless to say, she's into absolutely everything.

She is in love with Spongebob and Ni Hao Ki-Lan

This past month has just been a mess.. trying to get situated back in our house and trying to get back on schedule plus teething.. oh boy. I've been a wreck lol.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I already started planning her birthday party.. lol I know I'm always way ahead on things, but I want to have everything bought and ordered within the next 3 months. I'm still tossing around themes.. I'm stuck on Disney Princess (I know, cliche), Little Mermaid (cause she lovesss that movie), and Ni Hao Ki-Lan. Any input?

That's about all for now. CIAO!

It's Okay Rosalie.. Momma Doesn't Need Sleep

So I'm pretty sure my mind is officially gone.. This may sound like a bunch of rambling because I'm just that tired and that exhausted. I'm sure everyone is tired of me complaining about getting no sleep, but seriously how much can one person take?

Roey hasn't been sleeping well the past week... and last night we didn't sleep at all. I feel like death. I feel mean and grouchy. I feel like I just need a break. This week has been terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.

I may have forgotten to mention that Friday I was in my first Italy fender bender. Completely my fault, but I'm over it. I had myself so worked up over it, but now it's in the insurance company's hands and I don't even want to think about it. It was nothing big... I was pullin out of a parking spot and the guy was parked super close to me.. my front bumper caught the back of his car. We need a new bumper, but aren't worrying about it until we get back to the states because surely something like this will happen again. I did minimal damage to the guy's car.. and at first he was totally cool with me.. Then when Kevin went back to talk to him he was a total ass. We were originally just going to pay out of pocket to get his car fixed, but after that we decided just to turn into the insurance company and let them take care of it.

Onto another subject.. we have 2 trips planned so far for this summer. At the end of June we plan on going to Pisa. (If the trip isn't a typo on the calendar for ITT) And we plan on touring Croatia by boat at the beginning of July. If the Pisa trip is a typo, then we'll be going to Croatia that day. On the actual ITT schedule it doesn't say Pisa on the 26th.. but on the monthly flyers it does... so we'll just have to wait and see. I'm hoping on Rome in July or August. We haven't gotten to the beach since we've been back.. it's just been so hectic..

OHHH and you know how we've been working so hard on getting our driveway all pretty? We came home last night to my driveway covered in mud. Our sidewalk in front of our house covered in mud. Our front door covered in mud. Our door mat RUINED. I'm so irritated. Our neighbor got this idea to pressure wash his driveway to get rid of the weeds. All he did was make a mess of ours. He told us he was going to clean it, but all he did was sweep off the sidewalk in front of our house. Kevin's kinda "whatever" about it.. but i'm mad! The guy said that he didn't know it was going to splash over onto our side.. when CLEARLY he noticed it and kept going because it's the whole way down our driveway. When he noticed it was slopping mud onto our front sidewalk he should have stopped.. instead he kept going almost the whole way down our driveway.

That's all I have the energy for now.. time to go watch Sesame Street lol
