BBQ Chicken in a Homemade BBQ Sauce!
Ingredients:
3 tbls ketchup
3 tbls brown sugar
1 tbls vinegar
1 tbls lemon juice
2 tbls worcestershire sauce
1 teas salt
1 teas dry mustard
1 tea chili powder
chicken thighs (i used boneless)
1 tbls cornstarch
- preheat oven to 325
- in a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, lemon, and worcestershire sauce
- season with salt, mustard powder, and chili powder
- simmer sauce for 15 minutes
- place chicken thighs in baking dish, pour sauce over, and cover tightly
- bake til juices run clear (about 45+ minutes)
- take extra drippings and add 1 tbls cornstarch (DO NOT go crazy with the corn starch... it will make it super thick!) stir together thoroughly
- microwave drippings for 2 minutes
- pour over chicken
- serve!
